Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you and yours a beautiful day of giving thanks.

We woke early, went to Mass, stopped by the cemetery to gift Michael some new flowers, and headed back home to brunch it and finish up the rest of the Thanksgiving day food preparations. It’s just the kids and I today (their request)…we usually spent Thanksgiving just the 6 of us and I love to cook up a big feast so we’re trying to keep it as “normal” as possible.

I’m sure we’ll sneak in a walk with Lute and watch my personal fav, White Christmas. Just heard the the Christmas party I’m attending in a week is White Christmas themed so it’s gonna be epic, people. Costume already secured.

Anyway, I’m rambling and need to get back to the kids and the myriad of pots and pans indicating way too much food is on the horizon. I’m sure the emotions will ebb and flow throughout the day for each one of us, but homemade pumpkin pie (my first ever made) and puppy snuggles will surely help.

Much love from us to you!

PS: nice photo bomb Michael. XOXOXO
